About This Position

Description:

The PMO Analyst (Mid) provides program and project management support for Navy initiatives, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and aligned with organizational goals. This role supports planning, tracking, reporting, and governance of multiple projects while ensuring compliance with DoD and NAVSEA directives.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution Support
  • Support planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with scope and objectives
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and deliverables
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and briefings for leadership
  • Analyze project data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
Financial & Resource Oversight
  • Assist in budget tracking, cost analysis, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets
  • Support financial reporting and forecasting activities
Risk & Issue Management
  • Identify risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Develop mitigation strategies and track resolution efforts
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address challenges proactively
Process Improvement & Governance
  • Develop and implement PMO processes, tools, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with DoD, DoN, SECNAV, and NAVSEA directives
  • Support standardization of reporting and project management methodologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years experience OR 10+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in:
    • Project/program management support
    • Data analysis and reporting
  • Required:
    • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)
