Job Summary:

The facilities Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination, operation, and maintenance of site infrastructure at a repair and refurbishment facility. This role serves as the main contact of the vendors and ensures that the security protocols align with corporate standards and customer requirements to support seamless site operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day facilities and equipment operations, including hands-on maintenance, workspace functionality, and waste disposal. Ensure all facility services meet company standards and operational schedules.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external providers, responsible for sourcing vendors, obtaining competitive quotes, and managing service contracts.
  • Manage facility supply inventory, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely replenishment.
  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise facilities personnel and contractors to ensure facilities meet operational, safety, and security requirements.
  • Maintain Facility Asset record, including tracking equipment, lifecycles, maintenance history, and warranty information.
  • Perform routine inspections of infrastructure and equipment, coordinate activities, and maintain inspection records to identify malfunctions.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and functionality of security systems.
  • Monitor security incidents and lead necessary investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Lead site improvement projects, including renovations, construction, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Management, or a related field preferred
  • Master's degree is a plus

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in Facilities or property management with additional low-level management experience.
  • Familiarity with facility equipment (e.g., forklift, hand tool, pallet jack)
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating industrial environments.
  • Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and multi-meters.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to distinguish wire colors and read technical labels.
  • Comfortable working on ladders or in confined spaces.
  • Work performed in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
