Job Description

Description:

In this role, you will be a vital part of our growing pool service company, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional service and repairs to our commercial clients. Your expertise will not only ensure accurate diagnostics and high-quality repairs on complex commercial pool systems but will also position you as a mentor to help train and support technicians. With your skills and client-focused mindset, you will help us maintain excellence, keep our clients' facilities compliant and operational, and achieve client satisfaction while playing an integral role in our team's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

Diagnostics and Repairs:

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on a wide range of commercial-grade pool systems and equipment — including high-capacity pumps, commercial filtration, automated chemical controllers, heaters, and circulation systems — to maintain operational excellence, ensure long-lasting functionality, and minimize facility downtime.

High-Quality Quotes:

  • Provide clear, detailed, and high-quality repair quotes focused on keeping commercial pools running efficiently, meeting current health-code and safety regulations, and utilizing reputable commercial-grade products with solid warranties. Your quotes should reflect our commitment to excellence and give property and facility managers confidence in their investments.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all repairs and recommendations align with applicable commercial pool codes, health department requirements, and safety standards. Proactively identify compliance risks and communicate them to clients so facilities remain inspection-ready and avoid unplanned closures.

Client Communication:

  • Before Service: Communicate with the client's point of contact (property manager, facility manager, or on-site staff) ahead of your arrival to confirm the appointment, share your expected arrival time, coordinate facility access, and address any preliminary questions.
  • During Service: Keep the client informed throughout the troubleshooting process, explaining the issues and recommended solutions clearly and professionally, and coordinating around the facility's operating hours and usage to limit disruption.
  • After Service: Follow up with the client after repairs to ensure satisfaction, address any additional concerns, and provide quotes for further potential work that could improve the reliability, efficiency, or compliance of their pool systems. Maintain open communication to foster trust and long-term relationships.

Internal Team Communication:

  • Actively participate in team communication via Slack to ensure seamless collaboration. Share updates on ongoing repairs, ask for or provide troubleshooting support, and communicate relevant details with other technicians and team leaders to maintain operational efficiency across multiple commercial sites.

Quality Assurance:

  • Deliver exceptional service and attention to detail to ensure repairs meet or exceed client expectations and keep high-traffic facilities running reliably. When quality control issues arise, handle them as a top priority by addressing the problem promptly, communicating openly with the client, and implementing immediate solutions to resolve concerns and reduce downtime. Ensure follow-up actions are taken to prevent recurrence and maintain trust in our commitment to excellence.

Client Service:

  • Represent the company professionally by maintaining a client-first mindset, effectively addressing any service-related concerns, and providing solutions that align with our quality standards and the operational demands of commercial properties.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the service team to support daily operations across multiple commercial accounts, share knowledge, and contribute to a collaborative, team-focused work environment.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in pool service and repairs is required.
  • Residential Appliance Installer License (RAIL) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within an agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Proven experience servicing commercial pool accounts such as HOAs, hotels and resorts, apartment and condominium complexes, gyms and fitness centers, municipal or community facilities, and similar high-traffic properties.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial-grade pool equipment, automated chemical control systems, and applicable health-code and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work early-morning, evening, or after-hours windows as needed to perform repairs while facilities are closed and minimize disruption to operations.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with property and facility managers, on-site staff, and internal team members.
  • Ability to handle a physically demanding workload.
  • A great team-player attitude with the flexibility to wear multiple hats.
  • Desire to be part of a fast-growing, dynamic team.

Benefits:

  • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance
  • Short and Long Term disability paid for by company
  • Employee Assistance Programs for mental health and wellness
  • Paid Time Off
  • 10 Company Holidays
  • Training and Development Opportunities
  • Employee Purpose Plan

Schedule:
