Sinai Hospital (Baltimore) is a Level II Trauma Center. The ED sees about 49,000 adult patient visits annually, plus a pediatric ED seeing ~12,000‐14,000 visits.

Role Overview:

As a Patient Service Associate in the Emergency Department, you will provide critical secretarial and clerical support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to help coordinate patient flow and deliver exceptional service to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of clerical duties to support emergency department staff.
  • Answer telephones, relay messages, and manage calls within your scope of authority.
  • Coordinate patient flow in collaboration with physicians, nurse managers, and charge nurses.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.
