OVERVIEW
VersiCare Group’s corporate recruiter provides a full cycle of recruiting services including sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent in collaboration with business partners. This role will oversee the candidate procurement process, from identifying staffing needs to finalizing successful hires.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Partner with hiring managers across departments and company brands to assess staffing needs, define recruitment strategies, and manage the full-cycle hiring process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop, refine, and maintain accurate and compelling job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screen and evaluate candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.
- Facilitate and coordinate the interview process, ensuring candidates meet both technical and behavioral requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, managing the overall candidate experience and relationship throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR during the offer process by recommending competitive compensation packages, start dates, and other employment details.
- Utilize assessment tools and testing methods to evaluate candidate skills and competencies.
- Organize and participate in hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives to build talent pipelines.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, time-to-hire, source of hire) to improve hiring effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide market insights on compensation and benefits to ensure competitive and equitable offerings.
- Develop tools, resources, and process improvements to streamline recruitment and onboarding activities.
CULTURE, ENGAGEMENT & HR OPERATIONS
- Support and lead company culture initiatives that reinforce organizational values and employee engagement.
- Assist in planning and executing company-sponsored events, including community engagement initiatives and internal culture activities.
- Coordinate and support annual company surveys, including distribution, tracking, and follow-up actions.
- Contribute to the development and distribution of the corporate newsletter and internal communications.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide insights on trends and opportunities for improvement in retention.
- Perform and manage annual background check processes in compliance with company policy.
- Conduct new hire check-ins (e.g., 30-day follow-ups) to support onboarding success and engagement.
- Support and/or deliver company culture and onboarding-related training initiatives.
- Track and maintain company-wide training records to ensure compliance and development progress.
- Maintain and update the company organizational chart to reflect current structure and reporting relationships.
- Administer and provide ongoing support for recruiting and onboarding modules within the HRIS system.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Duties are performed using a hybrid working model combining remote work with office work. The needs of the business will determine the week-by-week structure.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and possesses the normal range of body motion.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process. (Full cycle recruitment)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Great networking skills; maintaining relationships with local universities and professional organizations.
- Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
