Job Description
Responsibilities:
Requirements:- Manage, develop, and expand a sales territory of existing customers and identify new customers and opportunities;Develop and follow a territory sales plan that aligns with growth forecasts and sales goals;Build successful internal and external customer relationships;Be part of a team that effectively utilizes Company resources and shares leads with other sales colleagues;Work independently without daily supervision, but remain responsive to Company management requests for assignments and account intelligence;Facilitate the sales forecast and input to the company’s CRM system;Become very knowledgeable on assigned product lines, striving to become a resource of solutions for assigned customers;Negotiate win-win contracts that make good business sense for the Company and our customers;Travel throughout the assigned territory with overnight travel as required.
- 2-5 years of automation & controls outside sales experience with application knowledge of AC & DC Drives, PLCs, Industrial Ethernet, Sensors & Control products;An engineering degree is required;Strong technical and communication skills both written and verbal;Proven track record—the candidate has successfully demonstrated technical know-how in previous jobs or project assignments;Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and contact management/CRM software;Mechanical and/or electro-mechanical aptitude.
