Triage Nurse - Advanced Primary Care (FT) in Whiteville, North Carolina at Columbus Regional Healthcare System

Job Description: Will provide appropriate screening, handling and routing of all incoming phone calls and ensure patient messages are taken appropriately with pertinent information via phone and/or EMR system. Will evaluate patient needs based on level of acuity; handle prescription refills; and provide timely communication with providers regarding patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed by the NC (or compact state) Board of Nursing to practice as an LPN.

Experience: No experience required. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
