Family Assistant/Nanny- Sag Harbor at The Calendar Group – Sag Harbor, New York

A family in Sag Harbor is seeking a reliable, long-term Family Assistant/Nanny to support both childcare and household operations. This is a hands-on, hybrid role requiring an organized, proactive, and engaging candidate who can serve as a true right-hand to the family. The ideal candidate is energetic and enjoys spending time outdoors, actively engaging with two school-aged boys through play and activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-school childcare for two boys, including school pickup and activity support
• Engage children in active, outdoor play (sports, yard play, basketball, etc.)
• Maintain a structured, positive, and nurturing environment
• Assist with household organization and day-to-day operations
• Run errands including dry cleaning, returns, and grocery shopping/ordering
• Handle personal assistant tasks such as gift wrapping and reservations
• Drive children to and from school, activities, and appointments
• Coordinate household needs and work alongside existing staff
• Pack/unpack and support family travel as needed
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Energetic, engaging, and genuinely enjoys working with school-aged children
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with basic computer-based tasks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be willing and able to travel (passport-ready for international travel)
• Seeking a long-term position

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:00pm/2:00pm - 8:00pm (Client is flexible with start time depending on candidates availability)
