About This Position
Our client is seeking a dependable, proactive, and nurturing live-in nanny/family assistant who brings a calm structure into the home. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on childcare and behind-the-scenes household organization.
Responsibilities
- Help create a calm, organized start to the day for the children. Prepare breakfast and pack snacks
- Pick up children from school and ensure smooth transitions home
- Assist with homework, reading, and school-related activities
- Transport children to activities and playdates as scheduled
- Light tidying and daily household resets
- Manage family calendars, appointments, and schedules
- Coordinate household vendors and services
- Handle household logistics and administrative tasks
- Run errands as needed
- Create and maintain systems that keep the household running smoothly
- Assist with dinner preparation and light kitchen tasks
- Communicate daily updates and important information to parents
- Provide occasional weekend care with advance notice
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle if live-out
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check and references required
