You will lead the strategy, scalability, and performance of demand-side platform operations while strengthening key technology partnerships.
The role combines technical leadership, operational innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve marketplace efficiency and revenue impact.
You will build scalable processes, optimize platform performance, and guide teams responsible for critical DSP relationships.
Working closely with product, engineering, commercial, and operations teams, you will shape the future of programmatic advertising infrastructure.

The Sr. Director, Global DSP Operations will lead the global operational strategy for demand-side platform partnerships, ensuring strong platform performance, scalability, and marketplace competitiveness. This role requires a strategic leader who can combine technical expertise, operational discipline, and people leadership to improve DSP outcomes and drive business growth.
- Lead the global DSP Operations organization, overseeing operational performance, technical scalability, and partner success across DSP relationships.
- Own operational health metrics including bid rates, win rates, QPS efficiency, deal adoption, scalability, signal optimization, and supply-path competitiveness.
- Build scalable operating models, workflows, governance structures, escalation processes, and service-level frameworks for DSP integrations and partner management.
- Develop prioritization strategies across enterprise, strategic growth, and long-tail DSP segments to maximize operational impact.
- Drive adoption of advanced marketplace capabilities including curation, traffic optimization, identity solutions, inventory packaging, and supply optimization initiatives.
- Partner with DSPs to improve auction performance, supply quality, efficiency, and overall marketplace competitiveness.
- Monitor global DSP infrastructure health, onboarding processes, traffic allocation strategies, endpoint performance, and integration effectiveness.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical, operational, and partnership challenges.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Solutions Engineering, Infrastructure, Revenue Operations, and commercial teams to improve platform performance.
- Translate partner feedback, operational insights, and market trends into actionable product and operational improvements.
- Establish KPI frameworks, dashboards, reporting standards, and operational scorecards to improve visibility and decision-making.
- Identify operational risks, technical gaps, and marketplace inefficiencies that may affect revenue, scalability, or partner relationships.
- Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed DSP Operations team by establishing clear ownership, performance expectations, career development paths, and operating rhythms.
- Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, and operational consistency across global teams.
- Support strategic business reviews, growth initiatives, and revenue planning with key technology partners.
The ideal candidate is a senior ad technology leader with extensive experience managing large-scale programmatic advertising operations, strategic partnerships, and global teams. You should have a strong understanding of DSP ecosystems, marketplace dynamics, and operational frameworks that enable scalable growth.
- 10+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, preferably within a DSP, SSP, exchange, or advertising technology platform environment.
- Significant experience leading operational teams, technical account management functions, platform operations, or programmatic operations at scale.
- Deep knowledge of DSP integrations, auction dynamics, supply-path optimization, traffic shaping, QPS management, deal ecosystems, and programmatic performance metrics.
- Proven experience building scalable operational frameworks and improving performance across strategic technology partnerships.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with experience using BI tools, dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Commercial, Operations, and technical teams.
- Strong people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and leadership development.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence with the ability to influence internal leaders and external partners.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational execution in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Strong understanding of programmatic market trends, including identity solutions, curation platforms, exchange optimization, and evolving DSP buying strategies.
- Experience managing globally distributed teams and complex operational escalations is preferred.
- Familiarity with supply-side infrastructure, traffic optimization technologies, and large-scale DSP onboarding initiatives is a plus.
