As a Principal Consultant, you will lead complex Salesforce architecture initiatives while serving as a strategic partner for clients navigating digital transformation. You will oversee solution design, implementation guidance, team collaboration, and customer success across enterprise projects.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and technical leaders by providing guidance on Salesforce architecture, security, performance, governance, and best practices.
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements, industry standards, and long-term customer objectives.
- Lead architecture discussions, technical assessments, and solution design activities throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and planning through deployment and optimization.
- Mentor and guide technical and functional teams, including customer resources and delivery partners, using effective leadership and communication strategies.
- Provide expertise in application development, integrations, enterprise architecture, environment management, testing strategies, and Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Drive the creation of technical documentation, architecture frameworks, and implementation roadmaps that support successful Salesforce adoption.
- Troubleshoot complex implementation challenges and lead teams toward effective resolutions while maintaining project quality and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, identifying opportunities to expand platform capabilities and deliver additional business value.
- Contribute to consulting practice growth by mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, developing best practices, and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation planning, including project governance, risk management, communication, and change management activities.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Salesforce architect and consultant with a strong background in enterprise technology, customer engagement, and solution delivery. You should combine technical depth with strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- 5+ years of enterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with enterprise software platforms such as CRM or ERP solutions.
- 2+ years of experience working as an architect within a mid-sized organization, demonstrating technical leadership and ownership of complex initiatives.
- 2+ years of external consulting experience, including significant CRM consulting experience and hands-on Salesforce or comparable CRM platform expertise.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture concepts, including integrations, single sign-on, master data management, and scalable system design.
- Experience with Salesforce implementations, including multiple Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer, App Builder, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies and experience managing enterprise transformation projects.
- Knowledge of application development technologies such as JavaScript, XML, HTTP, Java, C++, ASP, and SQL.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, automotive, or other complex industries with supply chain-driven business models is highly valuable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships and collaborate effectively across matrixed teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
