E-Commerce Marketing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Manager based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to own the digital commerce experience for fast-growing consumer brands and drive meaningful impact through high-performing online storefronts.
You will take full ownership of sitewide campaign execution, product launches, promotional experiences, and conversion-focused initiatives.
Working closely with creative, engineering, analytics, and marketing teams, you will transform strategy into seamless customer experiences.
The position requires a strong combination of e-commerce expertise, project management, technical understanding, and attention to detail.
You will play a critical role in improving digital performance through testing, optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Accountabilities:

The E-Commerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the complete digital storefront lifecycle, ensuring campaigns, launches, and customer experiences are executed flawlessly. This role will act as the central point of coordination between marketing, creative, technology, and analytics teams while driving conversion optimization and operational excellence.

  • Own end-to-end execution of website campaigns, including seasonal updates, product launches, promotional events, merchandising changes, and homepage refreshes.
  • Manage the digital campaign calendar and ensure all site updates are delivered accurately, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and optimize landing pages that support acquisition, retention, paid media, email, SMS, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Develop campaign briefs and collaborate with designers, copywriters, engineers, and analysts to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
  • Lead cross-functional campaign meetings, maintain stakeholder alignment, and proactively identify risks or blockers.
  • Define landing page hypotheses, conversion goals, and measurement plans to support continuous improvement.
  • Own pre-launch quality assurance processes, including mobile testing, link validation, promotional logic, analytics tracking, checkout flows, and performance checks.
  • Review and approve website content to ensure brand consistency, customer clarity, compliance, and conversion best practices.
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve user experience, engagement, and revenue generation.
  • Support innovation initiatives by exploring new technologies, automation opportunities, and AI-driven improvements for digital commerce operations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing e-commerce experiences within a direct-to-consumer or retail environment. They should combine technical knowledge, creative collaboration skills, analytical thinking, and operational discipline to deliver high-impact digital experiences.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in e-commerce site management, digital production, growth marketing, or related roles within a DTC or retail environment.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end website campaigns, product launches, promotions, and digital merchandising initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers, UI/UX designers, copywriters, marketers, and data analysts.
  • Strong hands-on experience with major e-commerce platforms and digital storefront technologies.
  • Experience using landing page builders, design collaboration tools such as Figma, and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of URL parameters, UTM tracking, discount and promotion logic, event tracking, pixels, mobile responsiveness, and website performance optimization.
  • Strong creative briefing skills with the ability to translate marketing goals into actionable requirements.
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO), user experience principles, and digital testing methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs, evaluating performance data, and improving customer journeys.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong quality assurance mindset and commitment to testing before launch.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to maintaining brand quality and improving digital experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing or optimizing AI-powered tools or autonomous AI agents for DTC e-commerce environments.
  • Background in product management, technical operations, or digital site experience leadership.
  • Knowledge of beauty industry customer behaviors, including product discovery, ingredient research, hair concerns, and personalized routines.
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies and AI-driven e-commerce innovation.
