Sr. Lifecycle Manager, Engagement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Lifecycle Manager, Engagement based in the United States.

As a Sr. Lifecycle Manager, Engagement, you will play a key role in shaping the customer journey from initial acquisition through long-term engagement and conversion. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will design and optimize lifecycle marketing strategies that create personalized, data-driven experiences across multiple channels. This role combines strategic planning, experimentation, AI-powered personalization, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize customer value and business growth. Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for customer acquisition and onboarding experiences, optimizing both on-site and off-site engagement opportunities.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated lifecycle programs, including welcome journeys, lead conversion campaigns, and cart or browse abandonment flows.
  • Identify new engagement opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle to improve conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive personalization initiatives using zero-party data, AI-powered segmentation, predictive modeling, and gamification techniques to deliver highly relevant customer experiences.
  • Partner closely with teams across digital experience, merchandising, paid media, brand marketing, product management, and customer loyalty to ensure seamless customer journeys.
  • Monitor campaign performance, deliverability, database health, compliance, and customer engagement metrics while maintaining high standards for data quality and governance.
  • Establish a rigorous testing framework through A/B and multivariate experiments to continuously optimize campaign performance and achieve key business objectives.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, Growth Marketing, or a related discipline within a fast-paced B2C e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Demonstrated success building strategic lifecycle marketing roadmaps that deliver measurable customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Strong expertise with customer engagement platforms such as Klaviyo, Bloomreach, Iterable, or similar marketing automation technologies.
  • Experience collaborating with data science teams to implement AI and machine learning solutions, including predictive models and recommendation systems.
  • Advanced analytical skills with deep knowledge of A/B testing methodologies, campaign optimization, and marketing performance analysis; SQL proficiency is considered an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of email and SMS marketing regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, TCPA, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and project management skills, with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
