Project/Portfolio Business Financial Analyst in St. Inigoes, Maryland at Antech Systems

In this position, you will work with the Antech Program and Technical managers along with Government Team leadership to support planning, tracking, reporting and modeling of a portfolio of small to mid-size programs in support of Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) ePerformance Solutions. The primary work locations for this will be a hybrid of time at Webster Field in St. Inigoes MD and/or Antech Systems' Lexington Park office (at least 2 days a week). Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ experience in business, statistics, mathematics, accounting, finance, data science, information systems or project management, an associate’s degree in a relevant field with at least 7 years’ experience, or a high school diploma/general equivalency diploma (GED) with at least 10 years’ experience. A degree in an alternative field with an additional 2 years of relevant experience will be accepted and clear identification of work history directly support US Navy.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and able to qualify for a security clearance. Active security clearance is a plus. Position may require occasional non-local travel through trips of several days to a week up to 4 times per year (typically 0-1 times).

Key Duties:

• Support coordination and communication of in development, under work, closing out project financial flows, projections, and what if analysis working independently under high level guidance from leads and senior financial analysts
• Process and analyze inputs, data pulls from Government, Antech, and associated systems for conflicts, gaps, opportunities, risks and alignment
• Disseminate key information through established information artifacts and dynamic communications (written and verbal) to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner for scheduled, planned, and emergent components assigned to you
• Analyze Navy ERP, NAWCAD WOLF and project specific financial and control data
• Support data calls for purely fiscal/resource planning and combined project elements both as a contributor and when assigned as the lead researcher developing answers for leads and senior analysts
• Assist in funds tracking, funds needed analysis, and impacts of task execution change on burn rates
• Support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cycle reporting
• Provide rapid updates integrating multiple data sources for monthly and weekly tracking / management reporting documents, in several cases into substantially suboptimized formats the Team must support

Required Skills:

• At least 3 years' experience developing consolidated reports, pivot tables and/or dashboards using MS Excel to present holistic views of an organizations project portfolio funding status while supporting efficient data drill down
• At least 3 years’ experience reconciling, tracking and supporting the planning project budgets including pre-project estimating through funds execution across the Government and Contractor Team.
• At least 2 years' experience performing financial or program analysis with financial element work within NAVAIR or NAWCAD.
• Support any data calls, budgetary support documentation, and other financial reporting at the individual project, project sponsor, or portfolio levels.
• Effective ability to work closely with the senior project financial, program and technical leadership to provide both effective long-range planning and rapid response to emergent data calls.
• Proven ability to develop efficient and effective processes for financial information project tracking and reporting under dynamically changing planning adjustments on a monthly cycle.
• Proven ability to develop communication tools and summary briefing packages for all levels of project reporting including financial, project status, and planning information.
• Demonstrated understanding of funding type (color of money) differences and relevant features impacting funding expenditure optimization.
• Ability to harmonize inputs from disparate sources and de-conflict input based on existing documentation and through interaction with internal and external stakeholders under project lead guidance.
• Ability to translate goals into and/or to develop task and high impact reporting products.
• Ability to apply and develop stand operating procedures, templates, and tools.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with team members and customers at all levels.
• Ability to work in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables.
• Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in MS Word and MS PowerPoint.

Desired Skills in 2 or more of the following skills/skill levels:

• 6+ years in the required skill areas
• 4+ years' experience working in a NAWCAD WOLF environment in a project analyst or financial role
• 3+ years' experience working with Navy ERP data and/or interfaces
• Demonstrated experience developing MS Automations involving “messy” data
• Demonstrated experience reconciling data from multiple Navy sources and accounting for disparities including data freeze points, quality/trustworthiness, visibility to other stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience applying and/or supporting Agile Project Management
• Certification as an Agile Product Owner, Scrum master, PMI CAPM/PMP/ACP, Financial Analyst, Microsoft Business Intelligence (Power BI), Microsoft Automation (Power Automate), or Microsoft Certified Master (Excel track)
• Experience with Logistics, Information Technology, or Training projects

Salary Range: Salaried at $85,000 - $112,500- Antech applies several factors to determine each individual’s appropriate salary component in their compensation package, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific elements and broader organizational requirements. The range displayed represents the overall expected salary range for this position and is just one component of Antech’s total compensation package for employees.
