Summary:
Dean Mead, a full-service Florida Business law firm, is seeking a full-time Estate Planning Legal Assistant to work in our Naples office. Candidates should have a strong background supporting multiple attorneys in estate planning and probate practices. The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities, and able to work with limited supervision. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain paper and electronic files in compliance with firm policies utilizing the firm’s document management system.
- Format and proofread correspondence, memos, and other legal documents from written and/or dictated attorney drafts.
- Schedule and calendar client meetings, as well as monitor attorney calendars.
- Submit billing entries, as well as expense reports.
- Assist with the preparation of estate planning binders.
- Other administrative duties, including general reception and office services, as assigned by attorneys and administrator.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years Legal Assistant or Executive Assistant experience (Required), in an estate planning practice (Preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF (Required).
- Experience with document management and legal drafting softwares (Required). Experience with iManage (Preferred).
- Florida Notary (Preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
- This position reports to work in-person at our Naples office.
