This is a remote sales leadership opportunity focused on driving net-new customer acquisition for innovative tax and compliance solutions.
The role leads, coaches, and develops a diverse team of Sales Executives while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
You will shape prospecting discipline, pipeline generation, deal strategy, and overall sales performance across multiple channels.
The position combines people leadership with hands-on involvement in strategic opportunities and revenue growth.
A strong partner-centric approach is essential, with collaboration across resellers, ISVs, and technology partners.
You will also help the team navigate organizational, product, and process changes with clarity and confidence.

- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team of Sales Executives, creating an environment where individuals feel supported, challenged, and empowered to perform at their best.
- Establish a leadership culture built on empathy, accountability, transparency, and clear expectations.
- Drive net-new logo acquisition and revenue growth across emerging, commercial, or mid-market customer segments.
- Foster disciplined outbound prospecting habits and ensure consistent pipeline creation across inbound, outbound, and partner-sourced opportunities.
- Guide territory planning, prospecting strategies, and multi-channel pipeline development.
- Monitor sales activity, pipeline health, deal progression, and conversion performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support strategic and complex opportunities by providing deal guidance, coaching, and executive-level sales support when needed.
- Lead the team toward achieving and exceeding revenue and sales performance targets.
- Use Salesforce and other sales analytics tools to monitor results, identify trends, and improve decision-making.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and provide actionable performance insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with resellers, ISVs, and technology partners to support co-selling, opportunity sourcing, and joint revenue generation.
- Strengthen partner relationships while maintaining strong internal prospecting and pipeline-generation discipline.
- Guide the team through organizational, process, and product changes, creating clarity and maintaining momentum during periods of transition.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align go-to-market initiatives and improve the customer experience.
- Identify operational barriers and work to remove obstacles that limit sales productivity or team performance.
- Model the energy, discipline, and behaviors expected from high-performing sales professionals.
- Encourage continuous learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the sales organization.
- Apply AI and modern sales technologies to improve efficiency, decision-making, prospecting, and team performance.
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 3 years in a frontline sales leadership position.
- Experience leading sales teams in emerging, commercial, or mid-market segments is preferred.
- Demonstrated success recruiting, mentoring, and coaching diverse sales teams to achieve and exceed quota.
- A coaching-first leadership approach centered on people development, deal strategy, accountability, and removing operational obstacles.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain disciplined outbound prospecting and territory planning practices.
- Experience generating pipeline through inbound, outbound, partner-sourced, and other multi-channel sales motions.
- Experience working within a partner-centric or channel co-selling model, including collaboration with external partners and alliances.
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue generation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational, product, and process changes in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform and modern sales engagement and analytics technologies.
- Ability to coach both individual contributors and teams through complex sales situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptability, resilience, and confidence operating in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance people leadership, strategic opportunities, and operational responsibilities.
- Comfort adopting AI-enabled tools and applying AI-related technologies to everyday business challenges.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging sales, technology, and AI practices.
- Base salary varies by location:
- Colorado: $153,000–$214,000 annually
- Washington: $153,000–$237,000 annually
- California: $153,000–$260,000 annually
- New York City: $169,000–$260,000 annually
- Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, market conditions, and business considerations.
