Personal Care Assistant in Southfield, Michigan at CareOne Senior Care

CareOne Senior Care is hiring dependable individuals to assist seniors and adults with everyday activities in their homes throughout Southfield, Michigan.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, providing friendly support, and creating a comfortable environment for the people they serve.

Previous experience is welcome, but it is not necessary. We provide training and guidance to help you feel prepared for your assignments.

Depending on the needs of each client, your day may include:

• Helping with bathing, getting dressed, grooming, and other daily routines

• Preparing meals and assisting with food and drink

• Spending time with clients through conversation and activities

• Helping keep the home neat with basic household tasks and laundry

• Offering support with walking and moving safely around the home

• Providing medication reminders according to the client's care instructions

• Driving or accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, or other approved outings

• Observing changes in a client's condition and communicating concerns with the office

• Recording services provided during each shift

We have assignments available for different types of availability, including:

• Part-time and full-time opportunities

• Daytime, evening, and overnight shifts

• Weekday and weekend assignments

• Extended or live-in opportunities

• Long-term placements and temporary assignments

• Starting pay of $14.00–$17.00 per hour

• Certain specialty and couples assignments may pay up to $22.50 per hour

• Weekly payroll with access to next-day pay options

• Scheduling based on your availability

• $150 referral bonus for eligible caregiver referrals

We're looking for people who are:

• 18 years of age or older

• Dependable, patient, and respectful

• Comfortable working independently in a home setting

• Able to communicate clearly with clients, families, and the office

• Able to provide dependable transportation

• Licensed drivers with current registration and auto insurance when transportation is required

• Able to meet background screening requirements

• Willing to complete a TB test before beginning work

Experience as a personal care assistant, home health aide, CNA, direct care worker, or caregiver is a plus, but experience is not required.
