This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Oracle HCM Consultant - Oracle Recruiting Cloud based in Canada.
This is a senior consulting opportunity focused on helping organizations transform recruiting and talent management through Oracle HCM Cloud.
You will serve as a subject matter expert across Oracle Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, guiding clients from strategy through implementation.
The role combines hands-on configuration, business process design, requirements analysis, testing, and client advisory work.
You’ll lead workshops, translate complex business needs into practical solutions, and help stakeholders navigate organizational change.
Working across multidisciplinary project teams, you’ll have significant autonomy while contributing to large-scale transformation initiatives.
Your expertise will directly influence solution quality, implementation success, and the long-term value clients gain from their Oracle investments.
The position offers a strong platform to deepen your consulting leadership while working on complex, high-impact HCM projects.
- Serve as an Oracle HCM Cloud subject matter expert, providing best-practice guidance across Talent Acquisition and Talent Management business processes.
- Configure Oracle HCM Cloud solutions hands-on, including functional setup for Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Journeys/Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, and Succession Planning.
- Research, design, configure, test, and support the implementation of Oracle applications in alignment with client requirements and project objectives.
- Lead business process reengineering activities, prototype workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.
- Analyze client business requirements and develop effective, scalable configuration strategies that align with established implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Communicate directly with clients, articulating business strategies, facilitating challenging conversations, and translating complex requirements into clear, accessible language.
- Develop and execute work plans in accordance with Oracle Talent Acquisition and Talent Management implementation roadmaps and methodologies.
- Collaborate autonomously and within multidisciplinary project teams, supporting both functional and technical workstreams.
- Provide input to Project Managers to strengthen project plans, establish realistic delivery expectations, and secure stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinate and support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing, solution validation, and resolution of issues identified during implementation.
- Document functional requirements and design strategies while working closely with technical team members to support integrations and effective solution delivery.
- Lead client groups through business process improvements and ensure solutions deliver meaningful, sustainable business outcomes.
- 4+ years of hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud implementation experience, with strong expertise across Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.
- Demonstrated experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Journeys/Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, and Succession Planning.
- Strong understanding of HR, recruiting, and talent management processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical Oracle solutions.
- Experience with Oracle Core HR is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle security, approval workflows, and reporting capabilities.
- Proven experience across the full implementation lifecycle, including strategy execution, requirements gathering, prototyping, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams to document requirements, develop functional design strategies, and facilitate integration testing.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and build alignment among diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated consulting skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, facilitation, and project coordination skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically to the United States, up to approximately 25%, for client engagements and business meetings.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and eligible to travel to the United States for required business activities; employment sponsorship is not available.
- Estimated base salary of CAD $137,000–$200,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and role requirements.
