Objective

HR Group, LLC is seeking an experienced in-house General Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance across a diverse, multi-industry portfolio.

Position Summary

The General Counsel will serve as the primary in-house legal advisor for HR Group, LLC and its affiliated entities, providing counsel across a wide range of legal matters including employment law, regulatory compliance, contracts, corporate governance, and risk management. This role requires the ability to navigate the distinct legal and regulatory landscapes of multiple industries — including field/industrial services and healthcare/senior care.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as lead legal counsel for HR Group, LLC and its affiliated companies across multiple industries
• Advise leadership on employment law matters, including hiring, termination, wage and hour compliance, and workplace policy
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, vendor agreements, and client agreements across diverse business lines
• Manage and mitigate legal risk across entities with differing regulatory exposure
• Partner on policy development and compliance initiatives
• Oversee litigation strategy and manage outside counsel relationships when specialized expertise is required
• Advise on corporate governance matters across the multi-entity structure
• Stay current on changes in employment law, healthcare regulation, and industry-specific compliance requirements affecting the portfolio

Qualifications

Required:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the State of Oklahoma, in good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience
• Demonstrated experience advising clients or business units across multiple industries
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills for advising senior leadership

Preferred:

• Prior in-house counsel experience, particularly within a multi-entity or holding company structure
• Experience with healthcare/senior care regulatory compliance
• Experience with field services, industrial, or skilled trades industries
