Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a related field (varies by position)
  • Strong academic record and passion for real estate, development, design, or business
  • Ability to work and live local to The Woodlands, Texas for the 12-week program
  • Commitment to excellence, collaboration, and personal growth

Available Internship Opportunities

Below are the available positions for the upcoming internship program. Each offers a unique perspective within our vertically integrated organization:

  • New Home Construction Intern at First America Homes - Open for San Antonio & Houston
    Step into the field with our construction management team to experience site operations, quality control, and project scheduling along with learning core fundamentals of homebuilding and warranty servicing. This hands-on internship blends classroom knowledge with real-world application in the residential construction process.
  • Accounting Intern - The Woodlands, TX This rotational accounting program provides hands-on experience across the Corporate, Commercial, and Land Accounting departments, offering exposure to the accounting operations supporting multiple real estate business units. Responsibilities include assisting with journal entries, accruals, reclasses, operational cash reconciliations, and other routine activities required for the monthly close process. Participants will develop a strong understanding of the monthly close cycle, accounting documentation and review processes, while gaining practical experience with the ERP systems, reporting tools, and software used to support multi-entity real estate accounting operations.
  • Commercial Development Intern - The Woodlands, TX Opportunity to experience a fully integrated commercial real estate development department and work closely with multiple disciplinaries including finance, leasing, construction, legal and various consultants. Throughout the summer, the intern will have direct communication with leadership and participate in day-to-day operations, tasks, problem solving, etc. The intern will be expected to complete a capstone project and present it to Signorelli executives in a professional manner with business strategy, financial analysis, and investment recommendation.
  • Data & Analytics Intern - The Woodlands, TX Data & Analytics Intern will support Signorelli's business intelligence, reporting, and AI enablement efforts by helping organize, validate, analyze, and visualize data from business systems. Working closely with our Data Architect and cross-functional teams, the intern will contribute to improving data quality, maintaining recurring reports and dashboards, documenting data definitions and processes, and turning business questions into clear, useful insights for decision-makers.
  • Graphic Design Intern - The Woodlands, TX The Graphic Design Intern will gain hands-on experience in concept development, layout, typography, brand consistency, social media graphics, presentations, and marketing collateral. Working alongside the Graphic Designer, they will contribute to real-world projects while developing skills in creative problem-solving, communicating design decisions, public speaking, responding to feedback and adapting concepts across multiple formats and audiences.
  • Social Media Intern - The Woodlands, TX The Social Media Content Creation Intern will support the Marketing team in bringing Signorelli Corporate, Land, and First America Homes to life through engaging, brand-aligned content. The intern will research trends, capture photo and video, create/edit short-form content, support content calendars and help evaluate performance. In the process, they will gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, brand storytelling, content production and performance measurement.
  • Human Resources Intern - The Woodlands, TX Working closely with the HR Generalist and HR team, the Human Resources intern will assist with ongoing HR initiatives, develop professional communication and HRIS skills, and learn the importance of confidentiality and sound judgment in Human Resources. Throughout the summer, the intern will receive exposure to recruiting and hiring, new hire onboarding, payroll and timekeeping, benefits administration, performance management, employee engagement, HR compliance, reporting and analytics, and offboarding. The HR intern will also have the opportunity to take ownership of a meaningful HR project from development through completion.
  • Land Development Intern - The Woodlands, TX The rotational internship gives individuals the opportunity to experience the finance, development & acquisition functions within Signorelli Development Company. Throughout the summer, the interns will work directly with the leadership of each major function and will participate in day-to-day operations, tasks, problem solving, etc., while working on their capstone project. The capstone project requires each intern to identify a land acquisition, establish development phasing, forecast the capital stack and create a marketing plan. At the end of the internship, the interns will present their acquisition & development plan to Signorelli investment committee and make an investment recommendation.
