Masters in Nursing or Health Related field.

Demonstrated progressive relevant management experience in the perioperative arena.

Strong leadership skills.

Ability to work with all levels of personnel.

Ability to form solid physician, staff and team relations.

Good organization, prioritization and analytical skills.

Ability to provide direct patient care if required.

Communication skills including verbal, non-verbal and listening skills.

Innovative and forward thinker.

Demonstrated leadership role in successful redesign of patient care processes in the perioperative continuum of care.

Knowledgeable of perioperative professional nursing standards and practice models.

Knowledgeable of regulatory standards including state, federal, Joint Commission.

5 years management experience in the perioperative arena.

Required: Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse License. Current specialty certification.

Preferred: One of the following CNOR, ANCC or AONE Nurse Executive Certification.
