JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator of Hospital Medicine and Intensivist Services is responsible for the operational management, oversight, marketing, and growth of Hospital Medicine services (Hospitalist) within our health system and local provider community. The Coordinator will have a visible presence at the hospital and will focus on establishing professional relationships with the entire team, hospital senior leadership, nursing, case management, specialty physicians, and community providers. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to the Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors in Nursing
- Clinical background, 3-5 years’ experience working with healthcare operational management, including financial statements and working knowledge of hospital and healthcare informatics, including quality measures
- 3-5 years' experience managing a physician group practice
- A valid driver's license.
- Advance knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel.
PREFERRED:
- Inpatient clinical experience and knowledge.
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Administration Management Skills
- Project Management Experience
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
- Required: Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information to large and small groups effectively.
- Preferred: RN License in the State of Illinois
