Accountabilities:- Analyze business domains, processes, and systems to identify improvement opportunities and support organizational objectives.
- Define, document, and validate business functions, workflows, processes, and requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and document business needs.
- Assess the feasibility of new systems, enhancements, and technology solutions while ensuring alignment with user requirements.
- Create detailed use cases, procedures, business documentation, and reports that are clear and accessible to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead or support business process reengineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service delivery through technology and process changes.
- Assist with business case development for new projects, enhancements, and operational improvements.
- Conduct change impact assessments and document the implications of business and system changes.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and validation of new system functionality.
- Perform research, analysis, and evaluation of existing and proposed programs, processes, and systems.
- Develop policies and procedures that support improved operational performance.
- Provide guidance and coordination to project team members or technical and administrative staff when required.
- Support management decision-making by consolidating complex information into clear and actionable documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience documenting and conducting business process reengineering or improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience writing detailed use cases.
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to understand complex processes, systems, and organizational needs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical and business concepts clearly.
- Ability to negotiate change, manage expectations, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Experience working with government, enterprise, or large-scale transformation projects is an asset.
- Accreditation from a recognized Business Analyst professional association is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) framework is an asset.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, Ariba, or Concur is considered an advantage.
- Fully remote position available within Canada.
- Full-time schedule of 36.25 hours per week.
- 12-month contract opportunity with strong potential for extension or long-term employment.
- Competitive compensation ranging from $61,000 to $70,000 CAD annually, depending on experience.
