- Understand business objectives and contribute to the creation of business and solution visions aligned with strategic goals.
- Facilitate value stream mapping, capability analysis, functionality assessments, and process understanding to define current and future states.
- Design and propose high-level solutions based on architecture standards, best practices, and technology references.
- Create, maintain, and evolve a solution portfolio aligned with enterprise architecture principles and internal policies.
- Define scalable architectures that incorporate technological innovation and support business growth.
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and guidelines for application structures, modules, integrations, and interactions.
- Identify opportunities for reuse of components, APIs, and platforms, encouraging teams to leverage existing solutions.
- Define and monitor architecture and reuse KPIs to measure effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate new technologies and evaluate different solution approaches.
- Create and document architecture designs considering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyze and define core business capabilities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Identify dependencies between initiatives and opportunities for technical and functional synergies.
- Act as an interface between business and technology teams, supporting optimization of projects, components, and functionalities.
- Guide engineering teams through architectural artifacts, development standards, and technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with solution, software, integration, security, and data architects to evolve architecture practices.
- Map integrations with products, technology areas, and external providers.
- Evaluate new components and optimize existing flows to support continuous improvement.
- Strong experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and technology strategy within complex organizations.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as BIAN, IASA, TOGAF, Zachman, CBAP, or BizBok.
- Experience with architecture documentation models and tools such as C4 Model, ArchiMate, or Bizzdesign.
- Familiarity with business management models including BSC, Canvas, SWOT, Ishikawa, and BABOK.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary squads.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture concepts, including Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), REST APIs, ESB, and Cloud-Native Applications.
- Understanding of reactive architecture principles, including responsive, resilient, elastic, and message-driven systems.
- Experience with microservices architecture, including service discovery, configuration management, logging, circuit breakers, containers, auto-scaling, and service mesh concepts.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to influence architectural decisions.
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or related industries is considered a plus.
