Accountabilities:

As a Cloud Analyst, you will support cloud implementation, optimization, and governance initiatives, helping teams improve the performance, reliability, and efficiency of cloud environments. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in project meetings to understand proposed architectures and contribute to technical discussions related to cloud environments.
  • Preparing cost estimates for new projects using AWS services and supporting financial planning for cloud initiatives.
  • Leading optimization initiatives, from identifying improvement opportunities to implementing actions with responsible teams.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve cloud governance practices and operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring indicators, dashboards, and reports related to cloud costs, usage, and resource performance.
  • Supporting the definition and evolution of Cloud Governance and FinOps best practices.
  • Documenting analyses, improvement opportunities, implementations, and achieved results.
  • Supporting cloud migration, modernization, disaster recovery (DR), and infrastructure automation initiatives.
  • Collaborating on proof-of-concept projects and technical improvements involving cloud platforms.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a cloud professional with hands-on experience supporting cloud environments, infrastructure optimization, and modern cloud practices. The required qualifications and skills include:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms, especially AWS and/or GCP.
  • Knowledge of key AWS and GCP services, including CloudFront, EC2, S3, EFS, VPC, Route53, RDS, ELB, IAM, Virtual Private Gateway, Internet Gateway, Shared VPC, Flow Logs, Web Application Firewalls, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
  • Experience supporting cloud implementation, modernization, and optimization projects.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Governance and FinOps concepts is desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring and environment analysis.
  • Understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, and load balancers.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux environments.
  • Intermediate English proficiency for reading technical documentation.
  • Experience with Python or Bash is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of AWS CLI is an advantage.
  • AWS, GCP, or FinOps certifications are considered a differential.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with technical teams.
