JSS Territory Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a JSS Territory Manager based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a strategic territory and directly influence brand growth across key industrial and professional markets.
As a JSS Territory Manager, you will build strong partnerships with customers, distributors, and end users while driving product adoption and market expansion.
You will operate in a dynamic field environment, combining relationship management, sales strategy, and hands-on product expertise.
Working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams, you will develop targeted plans that support business objectives and customer success.

Accountabilities:

The JSS Territory Manager is responsible for developing customer relationships, increasing brand awareness, and driving growth within an assigned territory. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, field engagement, and strategic account development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, distribution partners, and key accounts within the territory.
  • Drive product trials, conversions, and brand adoption through direct engagement in field environments, including job sites, tool areas, and customer offices.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to create customer-specific growth plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities, understand competitive landscapes, and leverage product knowledge to strengthen positioning.
  • Present product advantages effectively and act as a trusted advisor on product applications and solutions.
  • Monitor major projects and opportunities within the territory while managing priorities and resources effectively.
  • Prepare regular business reviews, forecasts, and opportunity updates to support strategic decision-making.
  • Operate within established budgets while consistently working toward assigned sales and performance targets.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong communication skills, business awareness, and the ability to manage relationships in a fast-paced environment. Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2–3 years of sales, territory management, or sales leadership experience, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build productive professional relationships.
  • Enthusiasm for learning, receiving feedback, and continuously developing expertise.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
