Marketing Assistant in San Diego, California at BBB Automotive

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the execution of marketing initiatives across our portfolio of luxury automotive brands. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional brand experiences by assisting with marketing campaigns, premium client events, digital content, and day-to-day marketing operations. This is a part-time position.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, luxury retail environment where attention to detail and professionalism are essential.

• Assist in executing marketing campaigns that align with luxury brand standards and dealership objectives.
• Coordinate the development and distribution of digital, print, and email marketing materials.
• Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and campaign tracking tools.
• Ensure marketing assets receive appropriate approvals and comply with manufacturer brand guidelines.

• Support planning and execution of luxury events, including vehicle launches, VIP experiences, customer appreciation events, and lifestyle activations.
• Coordinate vendors, guest lists, RSVPs, event logistics, setup, and on-site support.
• Help maintain exceptional presentation and execution standards for every event.
• Assist with post-event reporting, feedback collection, and performance analysis.

• Schedule and assist with social media content.
• Support website updates, promotional content, and vehicle listings as needed.
• Capture and organize photos and videos from events and marketing campaigns.

• Assist with marketing budgets, invoice processing, and vendor documentation.
• Maintain organized marketing files, creative assets, and campaign performance records.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and other dealership departments to support marketing initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, communications, or administrative support.
• Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, automotive, or premium customer service environments.

• On-site position within a luxury automotive dealership.
• Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and special events.

• $21.00 / hour
