Schedule: Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will- Prepare patients and surgical suites for specialty surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and veterinarians during advanced surgical procedures.
- Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia.
- Place intravenous and urinary catheters and perform venipuncture and blood collection.
- Administer medications, including controlled substances, under veterinarian supervision.
- Perform basic laboratory testing to support patient care.
- Monitor patient status throughout surgery and recovery while communicating updates to the medical team.
- Maintain accurate medical records and anesthesia documentation.
- Support client communication during patient examinations and treatment.
- Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
- Follow OSHA standards and hospital safety protocols.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
- Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
- Strong anesthesia administration and monitoring skills.
- Excellent technical, organizational, and mathematical abilities.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Experience in veterinary surgery or specialty practice preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty hospital.
