As a member of our Critical Care Unit, you'll work with advanced medical technology, experienced specialists, and a team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for patients and their families.
In Your Day-to-Day, You Will- Triage incoming patients and assist veterinarians with patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
- Provide advanced monitoring and nursing care for hospitalized critical care patients.
- Induce, monitor, and recover patients undergoing anesthesia.
- Perform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratories.
- Collaborate with veterinarians on treatment plans and communicate patient updates to clients.
- Participate in daily patient rounds to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
- Registered Veterinary Technician: Current California RVT license required.
- Senior Veterinary Assistant: Minimum of three years of hands-on clinical experience in a veterinary hospital.
- Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a fast-paced critical care environment.
- Commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and exceptional patient and client care.
