Schedule: 20 Hours Per Week In Semester; 40 Hours Per Week During Summer

The Westervelt Company is seeking a motivated student to support sustainability reporting, content creation, graphic design, video editing, and digital communications projects.

This internship offers hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful work that helps tell Westervelt's sustainability story and supports responsible stewardship of natural resources for future generations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

✅ Current college student with Junior status or higher

✅ Strong writing and editing experience

✅ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including:

Adobe InDesignAdobe PhotoshopAdobe Premiere Pro

✅ Majoring in:

CommunicationsPublic RelationsMarketingGraphic DesignDigital MediaRelated Field

WHAT YOU'LL DO

✍️ Create & Communicate

Write, edit, and proofread content for Westervelt's Sustainability ReportSupport internal communications and employee messagingAssist with social media and digital content development

🎨 Design & Produce

Create and update layouts in Adobe InDesignSupport graphic design projects and marketing materialsAssist in preparing files for print and digital publication

🎥 Edit & Tell Stories

Create and edit short-form video contentSupport corporate storytelling and employee engagement initiativesWork with multimedia assets for digital communications

📁 Organize & Preserve

Digitize and catalog historical company documentsManage digital assets and metadataUpload content to digital asset management platforms

🎉 Support Events

Assist with employee events and communications projectsCollaborate with marketing and communications professionals
