Job Description

Social Media and Content Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media and Content Manager based in United States.

The Social Media and Content Manager will shape and grow the organic social presence of two brands across a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
You’ll combine editorial judgment, cultural awareness, creative production, and strategic thinking to create content that feels native to each platform.
The role spans strategy, content creation, publishing, community engagement, influencer partnerships, and performance optimization.
You’ll translate complex ideas and brand stories into compelling content that earns attention and builds genuine audience connection.
Working closely with Creative, Paid Social, Influencer, and broader marketing teams, you’ll connect organic content to wider business goals.
You’ll also use AI-powered workflows to increase creative output, streamline repetitive work, and stay ahead of emerging platform trends.
This is an opportunity to build a distinctive social presence from the ground up while having significant ownership over the brand voice and creative direction.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and own the organic social strategy across two brands, developing platform-specific approaches for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, and emerging channels.
  • Monitor platform-specific KPIs, analyze performance, and continuously refine content strategies based on audience behavior and results.
  • Stay closely attuned to cultural moments, internet trends, emerging platforms, and changes in social algorithms to identify opportunities for timely and relevant content.
  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality content across formats including short-form video, static posts, stories, reels, and long-form video.
  • Repurpose paid social and television creative into organic-first content that feels native to the platform rather than simply adapted.
  • Produce original, feed-first content independently, using mobile-first editing tools such as CapCut and demonstrating strong visual and editorial judgment.
  • Represent the brands' voice across evergreen content, product launches, company milestones, cultural moments, and community conversations.
  • Engage authentically with audiences by responding to comments, understanding community needs, and developing long-term relationships with followers.
  • Identify, source, brief, script, negotiate with, and manage UGC creators and influencers, providing clear feedback throughout the collaboration process.
  • Collaborate with Creative Strategy, Paid Social, Influencer, Community, and other marketing partners to ensure organic and paid efforts reinforce one another.
  • Develop AI-powered workflows that reduce repetitive tasks while increasing the speed, consistency, and quality of content production.
  • Continuously evaluate new social and AI tools, formats, and workflows and incorporate relevant developments into the broader content strategy.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience managing organic social media for a brand, preferably within consumer technology, fintech, DTC, or another environment with a sophisticated audience and high creative standards.
  • Strong editorial instincts and a journalist-like approach to social media, with the ability to proactively identify trends, cultural moments, and platform opportunities and determine which are worth pursuing.
  • Expert-level proficiency with CapCut or comparable mobile-first video editing tools, with the ability to transform raw footage into engaging short-form content independently.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to develop a natural, human, platform-native voice across both short- and long-form formats.
  • Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including an understanding of what performs on each platform and why.
  • Confidence appearing on camera when needed and the ability to create compelling content without relying on a full production team.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools as an integral part of content research, ideation, production, or workflow optimization.
  • Experience managing content calendars across multiple brands and channels while maintaining strong organization and creative quality.
  • Hands-on experience with UGC and influencer programs, including sourcing, contracting, briefing, scripting, negotiating, and providing creative feedback.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across creative, marketing, paid media, and influencer functions.
  • A genuine curiosity about advertising, culture, technology, and internet behavior, combined with a proactive and self-directed working style.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong social content, creative judgment, and platform-specific execution is highly valuable.
Benefits:
  • Competitive U.S. base salary range of $105,000–$185,000, with individual compensation determined by location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
  • Additional compensation may include applicable bonus and equity opportunities.
  • Remote work flexibility.
  • Comprehensive U.S. employee benefits.
  • Opportunity to help build the organic social presence of two brands and shape their voice from an early stage.
  • Significant ownership across strategy, creative production, content distribution, community, and social growth.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of creative strategy, social media, influencer marketing, and AI-enabled content workflows.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to building a diverse, authentic, and supportive team.
  • Recruitment and employment practices that provide equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants.
