This is a high-impact commercial leadership role focused on driving national growth across a specialized HVAC and water solutions portfolio within a leading global organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies across channel partners, manufacturers’ representatives, and key accounts to accelerate revenue growth and expand market reach. The role combines strategic planning, hands-on sales leadership, and strong partner engagement to strengthen distribution channels and maximize performance. You will also play a key role in shaping pricing strategies, promotional programs, and contract execution while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. In addition, you will lead and develop sales talent, including direct supervision of business development leadership. This is a remote role with significant travel and high visibility across North American and international markets.
In this role, you will lead national sales strategy execution, driving revenue growth, channel development, and customer engagement across HVAC and technical product markets. You will oversee sales performance, partner relationships, and business development initiatives while ensuring alignment with annual targets and long-term strategic goals.
- Develop and execute national sales strategies and annual operating plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Lead, manage, and develop sales teams, representatives, and channel partners to drive consistent market execution.
- Identify, build, and expand sales channels, including onboarding new partners and optimizing existing relationships.
- Oversee pricing strategies, promotional programs, and contract negotiations to support business growth and profitability.
- Maintain and manage a strong sales pipeline and forecast accuracy to support business planning.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to shape go-to-market strategies and product direction.
- Provide training, coaching, and technical support to enhance partner and customer understanding of solutions.
- Represent the organization at industry events and trade shows to strengthen brand presence and market positioning.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Supervise and support the Business Development Manager in achieving performance objectives.
This role requires strong experience in national or regional sales leadership, ideally within HVAC, technical, or engineered product environments. You bring a blend of commercial acumen, technical understanding, and leadership capability, with a proven ability to drive channel-based sales growth.
- 7–10 years of regional or national sales experience in technical or industrial markets.
- Proven experience in sales management within the HVAC or related industry.
- Strong ability to develop and execute channel sales strategies with distributors, contractors, and representatives.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and multi-year account development.
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and applications.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales performance tools to manage pipelines and customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience handling complex contracts and pricing structures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business and financial acumen with ability to interpret performance metrics and reports.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Competitive annual salary range: $104,000 – $130,000 CAD, based on experience and qualifications.
