Inspector – 1st shift in Asheville, North Carolina at Friday Services

Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Asheville, NC
Pay: $16.00/hr.
Shift: 1st 6a-4:30p M-Th

Job Summary:
Were looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring all materials and finished products meet company standards by performing inspections, documenting results, and communicating any quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify accuracy of incoming raw materials

• Review order progress sheets as needed

• Perform in-process and final product inspections and document findings

• Respond to operator questions regarding product quality

• Report any product or process issues to the appropriate personnel

• Complete and submit daily inspection reports accurately

Additional Duties:

• Assist team members as needed

• Participate in training sessions and team meetings

• Support other tasks as assigned

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for up to 10-hour shifts

• Willingness to work planned and unplanned overtime

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 13 years of inspection or quality experience preferred

• Strong math skills (including decimals, fractions, and measurements)

• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures
