Job Title: Junior Accountant

Department: Accounting/Finance

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated entry-level accountant to support our accounting team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone beginning their accounting career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Accountant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical accounting tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and 3-way match where applicable

· Reconcile AP aging and resolve discrepancies with vendors

· Accounts Receivable (AR): Record, post, and allocate incoming customer payments to the correct customer accounts

· General Ledger (GL): Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reclassifications

· Reconcile GL accounts and prepare supporting schedules

· Maintain organized digital financial records for AP and AR and GL

· Assist with year-end audits by preparing PBCs and responding to auditor requests
