Job Overview:
As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for supporting a variety of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. You will be working in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment, handling responsibilities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and process streamlining. Your work will be critical to maintaining the financial health of the company, and you will have the opportunity to grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

  • Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee records

  • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial statements

  • Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency

  • Assist in administrative tasks as needed

  • Work with the team to maintain organized financial records

  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members professionally and promptly

  • Support other accounting-related functions and special projects as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, administrative office work, or related field

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop is required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word

  • Experience with Dropbox is required

  • Knowledge of Sage software is required

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time

  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal

  • Real Estate experience is preferred, but not mandatory

  • A passion for problem-solving and getting the job done efficiently

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
