We are seeking a Director of Translational Medicine to join our team. You will provide scientific and strategic leadership for one or more programs supporting the advancement of Crescent ‘s pipeline focusing on next generation immuno-oncology (I/O) and antibody-drug conjugate (ADC). Working with cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute the Translational Medicine strategy to help shape the clinical development plans and contribute to clinical and scientific deliverables.
- Develop and execute translational strategy to help advance Crescent’s clinical pipeline
- Provide oversight of the development, validation, and execution of fit-for-purpose clinical biomarker assays with external CROs and actively manage vendor relationships
- Drive clinical biomarker sample testing and data delivery in close collaboration with clinical development operations team
- Lead biomarker data analysis and contribute to clinical and scientific data deliverables
- Serve as the translational medicine lead in cross-functional program teams and support integrated program development plans
- Author translational medicine sections in IND modules, clinical protocols, IBs, ICFs, and other clinical documents and technical reports, and respond to regulatory inquiries related to translational medicine
- Provide translational input into novel target identification
- PhD/MD in Cancer Biology, Immuno-Oncology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Pathology, or other scientifically related field required
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience in translational medicine and clinical biomarkers
- Experience in leading translational efforts to advance the IO and/or ADC programs from IND-enabling phase through early phase clinical development and/or from early phase clinical development through late phase
- Prior experience in CDx development is a plus
- Strong team player with the ability to work in cross-functional matrix
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

$230,000 - $255,000 a year
