We have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Packaging Supervisor Assistant reporting to the Packaging Inventory Supervisor at our St. George, NB facility.

Position Summary
This role assists the Packaging Inventory Supervisor with coordinating staff, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Packaging Inventory Supervisor in planning and overseeing daily packaging activities
- Assist with scheduling, training, and monitoring packaging staff
- Ensure packaging procedures comply with quality, safety, and company standards
- Monitor production flow to meet volume, efficiency, and deadline requirements
- Help identify and resolve operational issues on the packaging line
- Perform regular checks on packaging materials, labeling, and finished products
- Maintain accurate production and documentation records
- Enforce workplace safety rules and promote a clean, organized work environment
- Step in to lead packaging operations in the Packaging Inventory Supervisor’s absence, as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in production or packaging environments preferred
- Leadership or team‑lead experience is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain attention to detail
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to work in a cold, wet and damp production environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed
