We are currently seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Warehouse Associate to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of products while supporting both our customers and branch operations. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in attention to detail, and is committed to providing outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with inventory counts as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and maintained according to safety standards.
• Provide support to customers, sales staff, and fellow team members to help achieve branch goals.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
What You Bring to the Team
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices, WHMIS, and Dangerous Goods handling.
• First Aid and Occupational Health & Safety training are considered assets.
• Experience within the HVACR, plumbing, electrical, or wholesale distribution industry is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills; experience with warehouse management systems is an asset.
• Ability to safely perform moderate to heavy lifting on a regular basis.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
