Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Human Resource Coordinator to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in HR practices and a strong desire to grow within the profession. This role supports a variety of HR functions including employee onboarding, recordkeeping, compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations support. This is truly a role where you will have your hands in all areas of HR and a role which will provide a lot of learning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Provides recruitment support across the organization.
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Coordinate training schedules, benefit enrollments, and performance review timelines.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company-wide HR projects.
  • Help ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain HRIS and personnel files with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems (e.g.,Paylocity is a plus).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
