Dermatology Nurse Practitioner- Allentown at Certified Dermatology – Allentown, Pennsylvania

We seek a Nurse Practitioner provider for our busy practice. An ideal candidate would be ambitious, experienced, dependable, energetic, and friendly. Must be a team player and loyal.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physicians regarding patient care
• Providing excellent services to patients by performing high-end services and recommending procedures as appropriate
• This will play a key role in continuing to support the growth of the business

Requirements:

• Current (or eligible) certification to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state
• 1+ years’ experience in dermatology is a plus
• Previous laser experience is a plus
• Previous experience selling skin care products is a plus
• Understanding how to match the client's need and skin type with the service is required.
• Proficient in following specific skin care protocols and adhering to Universal Sanitation Precautions
• Attention to detail and impeccable customer service
• Ability to work in a team environment with the expectation of achieving goals
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• A sound understanding of patient aftercare and wound management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
