Switchboard Operator in Cookeville, Tennessee at Cookeville Regional Medical Center

Job Summary: This position is responsible for operating an efficient and effective first impression of the hospital by routing both internal and external phone calls without delay. This position is also responsible for announcing alerts and codes overhead throughout the facility, and paging physicians and other medical staff during emergency situations. Other duties as assigned. Education: High School Diploma or GED Required

Additional Experience Requirements:

Some clerical experience and basic medical terminology preferable.
General knowledge of switchboards, paging systems, and general office equipment.
