Director †Government Relations and Compliance Officer at Hannibal Regional Hospital – Hannibal, Missouri

The Director – Government Relations develops and maintains relationships with levels of government to represent and protect organizational interests. The positions work closely with Senior Leadership to leverage advocacy, legislation, and policy that benefit our patients, team members and organization. The Compliance Officer establishes and implements an effective compliance program to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and then informs the System Board of monitoring and reporting results of the compliance efforts.

• Bachelors degree in related field of study required
• Five years managerial experience, preferably working in government
• 3 years experience in healthcare required
• Experience with regulations, compliance, or standards in a healthcare organization required
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to problem solve and reach resolution within all levels of the organization
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation required
