Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our fleet sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and closing sales opportunities with automotive fleets. You will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with fleet managers, helping them optimize their operations with our solutions. Success in this position requires an understanding of fleet operations, technology, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to deliver value-driven pitches.
Prospect & Qualify Leads: Identify and research potential clients that operate vehicle fleets. Develop a pipeline of high-quality leads by utilizing industry contacts, networking, and cold outreach.
Sales Execution: Conduct in-depth consultations to understand fleet clients' specific needs and pain points, and present tailored solutions. Close deals by addressing objections and negotiating contract terms.
Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with fleet managers and operators, maintaining regular touchpoints to ensure satisfaction, and foster repeat business.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to provide feedback and improve product offerings. Collaborate internally to create custom solutions for large fleet accounts.
Sales Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Track and report on sales performance and forecast opportunities.
Client Education: Educate clients on the value of the ServiceUp platform and service offerings, helping them make informed decisions for their fleets.
Market Insights: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and fleet management challenges to better serve clients.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or fleet industry. Experience selling to SMB and enterprise-level clients is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with fleet managers, C-level executives, and procurement teams.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Ability to pitch complex solutions and close high-value deals.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with fleet management operations, challenges, and technology solutions.
CRM Skills: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, manage accounts, and report on sales metrics.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage your pipeline while being a collaborative team player.
Travel: Willingness to travel to meet with clients or conferences as needed.
