Chief of Staff to the CEOAI Technology Startup | San Francisco, CAAbout the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to partner directly with our CEO in driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence at our rapidly scaling AI technology company. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership & Executive Support

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and right-hand to the CEO, providing critical thinking and analysis on key business decisions
• Manage CEO's priorities, calendar, and communications to maximize effectiveness and strategic focus
• Prepare executive briefings, board materials, and investor presentations
• Act as CEO's representative in meetings and cross-functional initiatives when needed

Organizational Leadership

• Drive execution of company-wide strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, sales, and operations teams
• Lead special projects and cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges
• Facilitate leadership team meetings and all-hands communications
• Serve as a cultural ambassador, reinforcing company values and maintaining high performance standards

Business Operations & Growth

• Partner with leadership team to develop and refine go-to-market strategies
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities in the AI space
• Support fundraising activities, including due diligence coordination and investor relations
• Drive operational improvements and process optimization across the organization

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and advisors
• Coordinate board meeting preparation and follow-up on key action items
• Manage sensitive and confidential communications with discretion and professionalism

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or similar high-growth startup environment
• MBA from top-tier program or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated experience working directly with C-level executives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating executive-level presentations
• Track record of successfully managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines
• Experience in technology or AI/ML industry preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Chief of Staff or similar executive support role experience
• Background in venture-backed startups, particularly in AI, machine learning, or enterprise software
• Experience with fundraising processes and investor relations
• Technical background or strong ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts
• San Francisco Bay Area network and market knowledge
