In this role, you will ensure the integrity and usability of research and production data while supporting quantitative teams in their day-to-day needs. You will work closely with researchers and engineers to enhance tooling and streamline workflows.
- Discover, validate, clean, and maintain datasets used in research and production environments
- Monitor production systems, analyze logs, and investigate data or system inconsistencies
- Support ad-hoc research requests and perform exploratory data analysis when needed
- Design and build internal tools, scripts, and automation utilities using Python
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and engineers to improve research infrastructure and operational efficiency
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large and complex datasets using Python. Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity for understanding systems are essential.
- Strong proficiency in Python with a focus on clean, maintainable code
- Solid experience with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and code quality standards
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
- Ability and willingness to dive deep into complex technical systems and workflows
- No prior experience in finance or quantitative trading is required
- Background in STEM fields such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering is a plus
