Miami Children's Museum is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Guest Experience Coordinator to help deliver exceptional experiences for our guests, birthday parties, group visits, and special activities. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on customer service, and loves balancing people leadership with operational coordination.

As a key member of our Museum Experiences team, you'll oversee staff scheduling, support birthday party operations, collaborate with our sales team, and help ensure every guest interaction reflects the Museum's commitment to fun, learning, and hospitality.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate monthly schedules for Playologists, Birthday Party Hosts, and Group Tours
  • Serve as the onsite Floor Manager, providing coaching, support, and leadership to front-line staff
  • Ensure birthday parties are executed smoothly and exceed guest expectations
  • Train, mentor, and support Birthday Party Hosts to maintain exceptional service standards
  • Manage inventory and supplies for birthday parties and special programs
  • Partner with the Sales Team to support bookings, guest communication, and revenue-generating opportunities
  • Oversee operations of the Maker's Space Glass Lab and assist with sales growth initiatives
  • Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and increase participation
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of experience working in a museum, attractions, hospitality, events, or guest services environment
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience leading teams and providing performance feedback
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
