Social Media Manager, Temp

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media Manager, Temp based in the United States.

This temporary, full-time remote role offers the opportunity to shape engaging social media campaigns for high-profile entertainment projects. You will help bring TV and film content to life through creative concepts, platform-specific content, and audience engagement. Working across major social channels, you will contribute to campaign strategy, content planning, community management, and performance reporting. The role combines creative storytelling with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment. You will work closely with internal teams and clients while managing multiple campaigns and deadlines. It is an excellent opportunity for a social media professional who thrives on entertainment, creativity, and building engaged digital communities.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage innovative and engaging social media campaigns for entertainment projects across multiple platforms.
  • Develop social content concepts, creative ideas, and recurring content themes aligned with campaign strategies and audience interests.
  • Build and maintain content calendars, campaign timelines, and publishing schedules to ensure consistent and timely execution.
  • Create and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, Threads, and other relevant social platforms while applying platform-specific best practices.
  • Write compelling social copy and adapt brand voice and tone according to the project, platform, audience, and campaign objectives.
  • Facilitate community management across social channels, engaging with audiences and helping maintain active, positive online communities.
  • Support the creation of low-fidelity social content using tools and formats suited to platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
  • Monitor campaign performance and administer reporting and analytics to help evaluate results and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, account, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality social campaigns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, including presenting ideas, updates, and campaign performance.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Remain flexible and available for occasional evening and weekend work when campaign requirements call for it.
Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in social media, preferably within an agency or similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working on social media campaigns within the entertainment, television, film, or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience publishing content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and Threads, with a strong understanding of the best practices and audience behaviors associated with each platform.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging, voice, and tone across different projects and channels.
  • Experience creating low-fidelity social content using tools such as TikTok and Instagram Edits.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, content formats, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, client communication, and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a creative, cross-functional team.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can evolve.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with flexibility for occasional nights and weekends.
  • Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S.; the role is not eligible for international remote work.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary range of $52,000–$62,000.
  • Remote, full-time temporary position.
