Demo Environment Operations Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Demo Environment Operations Manager based in United States.

This is a hybrid leadership and hands-on engineering role focused on operating and scaling a global demonstration environment. You’ll lead a team of Demo Engineers while remaining deeply involved in technical delivery and problem-solving. The role combines people management, operational excellence, project leadership, and cloud engineering. You’ll help build reliable demo environments, integrations, datasets, and technical scenarios that support sales and marketing initiatives. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and executive stakeholders, you’ll shape the long-term demo roadmap and deliver high-impact experiences. This is an opportunity to influence technical strategy while empowering a talented team in a fast-moving security and cloud technology environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, support, and evaluate a team of Demo Engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and helping team members develop their skills and careers.
  • Manage team capacity, prioritize incoming requests, allocate work, and ensure engineers have the resources, guidance, and support required to deliver successfully.
  • Establish and continuously improve standards, best practices, processes, and lifecycle guidelines for demo environment creation, maintenance, and scenario management.
  • Monitor operational metrics such as ticket volume, fulfillment times, and request types to identify recurring challenges and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with Product teams to define the long-term demo environment roadmap, evaluate technical feasibility, and develop scalable and innovative demonstration capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering, Sales Engineering, Product Marketing, and executive stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, timelines, and priorities for critical demonstrations and events.
  • Remain hands-on by designing, building, configuring, scripting, troubleshooting, and maintaining demo environments, sample datasets, and cross-product integrations.
  • Take ownership of complex demo requests and senior-level engineering tasks when needed, working alongside the team to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional escalations, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and stakeholders remain informed.
  • Drive operational improvements that make demonstration environments more reliable, scalable, and effective for global sales and marketing activities.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams or managing technical operations, preferably in Sales Engineering, Technical Support, DevOps, or a comparable environment.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, along with experience in API integrations, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern web technologies.
  • Demonstrated scripting experience using languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript for environment setup, automation, and testing.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical delivery teams supporting corporate events, product launches, software releases, or other high-visibility initiatives.
  • Ability to operate effectively as a working manager, balancing people leadership, administrative responsibilities, strategic projects, and hands-on technical contribution.
  • Experience managing and optimizing workflows in Jira and/or Jira Service Management is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to remain composed and effective while managing competing priorities during high-pressure periods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including a genuine commitment to mentoring, empowering, and supporting team members.
  • Ability to think strategically, evaluate technical feasibility, identify opportunities for innovation, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.
Benefits
  • Base salary range of $163,000–$223,000 USD for the U.S. position, with actual compensation determined by location, skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
  • Additional bonus and equity opportunities as part of the overall compensation package.
  • Comprehensive employee benefits.
  • Access to benefits and programs designed to support employee wellbeing and professional development.
  • Opportunity to work in a high-growth cloud and AI security environment with exposure to modern technologies and large-scale technical initiatives.
  • Leadership opportunity with significant influence over team development, operational strategy, and the evolution of global demonstration capabilities.
  • The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership.
  • Application deadline: October 31, 2026.
