Job Description

Maximizes store sales through excellent customer service, product availability and merchandising and exceptional store image inside and out.

Provides information to store management by recapping promotional activity; reporting business opportunities, results, trends and competitive information.

Manages controllable costs including but not limited to labor, cash, shrink and expenses. Coaches and holds managers accountable on procedures and policies

Implements marketing programs and provides coaching to staff on promoting products Executes monthly promotions timely

Ensures compliance on company policies & procedures, government regulations, enforces and monitors restricted sales.

Ensures compliance on brand programs, promotional advertisement and programs

Responsible for a district (number and location of stores as assigned)

Achieves financial objectives set by company, meeting/exceeding annual/monthly budgets, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action within a timely manner.

Reviews and analyzes inventory audit. Guides store manager on how to review and analyze inventory results and provide input and response timely

Develop, plan and attend monthly meetings with Store Managers, assisting with meeting criteria, discussing any store related issues and ideas, improve the district, increase store sales, and implement monthly promotions.

Contributes and participates in quarterly and yearly company and/or manager meetings.

Conduct annual performance reviews for Store Managers and assists Store Managers with performance reviews of their staff.

Provides leadership to Store Managers, including assistance in recruiting, selection and orientation processes, assists with employee development and training programs.

Implements non-discriminatory related management skills while hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees.

Execute procedures to increase profitability for each store within district, developing salespeople and management to become invested.

Implements and executes programs to maintain inventory control and hold personnel accountable for non-compliance.

Ensures execution of all security, mystery shop, in-stock, health and safety programs.

Conducts cash, lottery and ATM audits at each location within district monthly

Manage Deli programs in all locations within district, maintaining/exceeding gross margin % expectations and hold all involved accountable.

Food service experience is a plus

Conducts Shrink Investigations at any location

Secures and protects all company assets (inventory, property, car, phone, laptop, etc.) by adhering to responsibilities, job description, safety regulations, etc.

Job duties may change with or without notification.

3-5 years of retail business experience

Minimum of 2 years of management responsibility

Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented with a passion to increase sales and profitability.

Ability to supervise, train Store Managers and manage functions listed in each job description.

ServSafe Certification

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.

Current valid driver’s license.
