Position Summary

Epic Pain Management is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and support compliance initiatives across our pain management clinics and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs that promote adherence to applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

The Compliance Manager $85000will work closely with clinical, operational, and executive leadership to ensure organizational policies, procedures, and practices align with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain the organization's compliance program across all clinic and ASC locations
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, radiation safety, medication management, and controlled substance regulations
  • Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys, inspections, and accreditation reviews, including Quad A standards
  • Develop, implement, and update policies and procedures to support regulatory compliance and operational best practices
  • Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews; identify areas of concern and implement corrective action plans
  • Investigate compliance-related incidents and provide recommendations for resolution and prevention
  • Coordinate staff education, compliance training, and ongoing regulatory updates
  • Monitor changes in state and federal healthcare regulations and communicate impacts to leadership
  • Collaborate with department leaders to promote quality improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation, records, and reporting processes
Requirements:

Required

  • Healthcare compliance experience required
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • HIPAA Compliance
    • OSHA Compliance
    • Radiation Safety Compliance
    • Medication and Controlled Substance Compliance
    • ASC Regulatory Compliance
    • Healthcare risk management and quality assurance principles
  • Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, investigations, and corrective action planning
  • Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and compliance training programs
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict attention to detail
Preferred
  • Experience in pain management, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), interventional medicine, or multi-site healthcare organizations
  • Familiarity with Quad A accreditation standards and survey readiness processes
  • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or other relevant compliance certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field
